What shapes the right window choice in Berkeley’s older neighborhoods and hills.
The windows are a big part of what makes an old Berkeley house look right from the street. Wood or wood-clad replacements with matching proportions and simulated divided lites keep that look, while dual-pane glass finally stops the drafts. Vinyl can work too, on the right house.
