One Crew, Twelve Contra Costa Communities

Contra Costa is a big, varied county. Lamorinda’s wooded hills, the hot central valley around Concord and Walnut Creek, the San Ramon Valley’s planned communities and East County’s newer subdivisions all need different things from a window. We know the differences, and we tailor every estimate to the city, the street and the way the house faces the sun.

Contra Costa Cities We Serve

Each page covers that city’s homes, permits and the windows that suit them.

What Changes Across Contra Costa

The same window isn’t right everywhere in the county.

Two climates

Central and East County summers run hot, so heat-control Low-E glass matters most there. Lamorinda canyons and the waterfront run cooler and damper.

City or county permit

Incorporated cities issue their own permits. Unincorporated areas such as Alamo, Blackhawk, Diablo, Contra Costa Centre, Pacheco and parts of Alhambra Valley go through Contra Costa County.

Fire hazard zones

Much of Lamorinda and the foothills of Mount Diablo and Las Trampas are mapped fire hazard zones, where tempered dual-pane glass may be required.

HOAs everywhere

Rossmoor, Blackhawk, Oakhurst, Dougherty Valley, Summerset and many more review window changes. We prepare the paperwork.

Freeway corridors

I-680, Highway 24, Highway 4, Highway 242 and BART run through the county. Sound-rated glass helps homes along them.

Every era of home

From pre-war Martinez to 2000s Brentwood, each era has its own window problems, and we’ve seen them all.

We serve the twelve cities and towns listed above and the unincorporated communities around them, including Blackhawk, Diablo, Pacheco and Alhambra Valley. If you’re not sure, just ask.
Incorporated cities issue their own. Unincorporated areas go through Contra Costa County. Many replacements need a permit and all must meet Title 24, and we handle it either way.
For most of the central and eastern county, Low-E glass designed for hot climates. In cooler Lamorinda canyons, a balanced all-climate glass is often enough. We choose room by room.
Yes, constantly. We prepare specs, colors and grid details for the HOA and order only once you’re approved.
It depends on the number, size, style, material and glass of your windows. We measure first, then give you a fair, detailed written quote for free, and the quote is the price.
Never. Every installation in every city is done by Alex and Leon’s own in-house crew.
